What is Neighbors for Krish?

• Neighbors for Krish (NFK) is a group of friends and neighbors organizing to advocate for Dr. Krishnan Subrahmanian for MN Senate District 49 (Eden Prairie and Minnetonka). Supporters are working together to spread the word about Krish, the path to the nomination, and what needs to happen to get there.

• Dr. Krish is a local physician, educator, and member of the Air National Guard. He is the Chief Medical Officer at Hennepin Health and Co-Chair of the Early Childhood Caucus for the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Minnesota Chapter. Krish lives in Eden Prairie with his wife and three children, where he coached his son’s Little League team and has been an active community member. This is just a sampling of who Krish is and why many of us are thrilled to support him.

Is this Krish’s campaign? Is he an official candidate?

• Nope! “Neighbors for Krish" is not Dr. Krish's campaign, it is a group of neighbors and friends organizing in a grassroots way to support him. He is not an official candidate yet or involved in this effort because he is on a four-month deployment overseas with the US Air Force, which prevents him from campaigning until he is back. He returns in January, so until that time, supporters who want to see a good showing for him at the Feb. 3 caucus are organizing to spread the word.

So is he involved?

• Krish is not involved in any way, because he is not allowed to do so as an Active Duty service member. He will not be an official candidate – and will not start a campaign – until he is back, at which point he is free to engage.

Who is behind Neighbors for Krish?

• NFK was started in November 2025 by a few friends and neighbors. The hope is to spread the word about Krish and the process, and to give supporters a means of connecting and helping out.

• Our co-chairs are former MN House Rep. Laurie Pryor (District 49A) and current Eden Prairie city council member PG Narayanan. Our members are primarily residents of Eden Prairie and Minnetonka, though we welcome engagement and support of friends of Krish from the Twin Cities and beyond.
