Meet Krish
When Dr. Krish and his wife chose Eden Prairie to raise their three children, they did so because they believed deeply in what this community represents — a place that puts kids first, that looks out for one another, and that believes we are stronger when we come together.
They have seen that spirit everywhere, from the baseball fields where Krish coached Little League, to the classrooms where teachers nurture curiosity and kindness, to the neighbors who show up for each other when times get tough. This community has supported his family in every sense of the word and it’s what inspires his desire to serve in return.
As a local pediatrician and Chief Medical Officer at Hennepin Health, Krish has spent his career helping families navigate challenges, celebrate milestones, and find their footing when life gets hard.
As an Air Force flight surgeon, he has worked alongside service members who understand that leadership means putting mission and people before politics.
As a father, husband, and lifelong educator, he believes every decision — from our schools to our health care system — should begin with the question: “What’s best for our kids?”
That guiding question — what’s best for our kids? — has shaped his journey, from his early work combating the HIV epidemic in sub-Saharan Africa, to his years advocating for health care access, good governance, and community-based solutions here in Minnesota.
We believe our community deserves leaders who bring people together, who listen first, speak with respect, and lead with heart. The spirit that makes this a great place to raise a family is the same spirit that can guide our state forward: one of kindness, stewardship, and shared purpose.
